Cops Find Petrified Dog Trapped Under A Shed And Quickly Execute An Ingenious Plan

No matter how secure the enclosure is where your pet exercises and takes its bathroom breaks, a responsible owner knows that dangers still lurk.

It may be in the form of a hungry coyote or some other predator, or maybe you’re worried about someone kidnapping your dog for evil reasons.

It doesn’t mean that you’re paranoid. You just love your dog and you’re aware of the facts.

The one danger you wouldn’t consider is this:

When you let your dog outside to go potty and a shed falls on top of them!

Okay, that’s not really what happened, but what would you think if you went in search of your dog and found it trapped beneath a shed with only her head sticking out?!

The shed had been there for a long time, but this was the first time that it appeared to have swallowed the family pet!

An elderly Tampa lady let her beloved Queenie outside for one last romp in her yard before bedtime. She waited the usual amount of time and went to call her back inside.

No answer.

She went inside for a flashlight and after a quick perusal around the yard was horrified to find poor Queenie stuck underneath her storage shed!

Poor Queenie was in great distress and obviously in the throes of a major panic attack.

Her mom tried to pull her out, but Queenie was stuck tight and wouldn’t budge.

So, it was time to call for reinforcement and it arrived in the form of two police officers who went right to work to ‘serve and protect’ Miss Queenie!

Using shovels, they dug a trench for the now-terrified Queenie to use to get back to freedom.

After the trench was completed, they used a hand trowel to dig away the last remaining bit of dirt that was keeping Queenie trapped.

By this time, Queenie was panting heavily and was extremely stressed and exhausted from her continued struggles to free herself.

As badly as she wanted out of her prison she was too worried and anxious to move.

The officers used a catch stick to gently tug until Queenie finally crawled out into the trench and then into her mama’s waiting arms.

After a nice drink of cool water and a loving hug from her mother, Queenie was on the road to recovery.

We’re guessing that her jaunts into the yard will be more closely supervised in the future!

Thanks the officers who went above and beyond to rescue one of their non-voting public!

We’re pretty sure if Queenie could vote, she would be voting to get them a raise as soon as possible.
