Not only was he a long way down, stuck in a narrow pipe, but even if someone spotted him … how could they possibly get him out?

Well, amazingly enough, after four long days of suffering in the pipe, the kitten was indeed rescued.

And it was arguably the most epic rescue we’ve ever seen!

The kitten is soaked, freezing, starving, and obviously terrified. And there was no easy way to get to him.

The rescue team worked with Freedom Plumbing Inc. to come up with an ingenious method of freeing the tiny tyke, and it worked out beautifully.

It took a little time, of course, but they had to be sure the pipe wouldn’t break during the rescue attempt … if that happened, it’d be all over!

And once the baby cat was finally pulled free, Well Pets SC helped nurse him back to health.

Think about it: 120 hours in total darkness, unable to move, petrified and hopeless.

Somebody up there was obviously looking out for this furry angel!

Sometimes being small means you have to be braver, louder and tougher than everyone else just to survive.

Not all big guys are going to be afraid of you, but you don’t have to let them know you’re afraid of them!

One little kitten got a chance to play David to a Rottweiler Goliath and it’s just incredible to watch.

At the dog’s first bark and leap, the kitten is terrified. Wouldn’t you be if you were her size?

Luckily, the big beast’s leash keeps him from actually reaching the kitten. Otherwise, the situation could’ve gotten very dicey, very fast.

At first, the kitten stops short and leans away from the dog…but she doesn’t run. She stands her ground!

After a moment of his barking and lunging, the kitten begins to build up her courage.

The dog opens his mouth and lets out a loud resounding “woof” from the floor. The kitten’s tail spikes straight up but again, she stands her ground!

Then, she does something so brave, it’s almost unthinkable:

Filled with the power that comes from realizing you’re winning at something (or at least holding your own) the kitten charges at the surprised pooch!

Eventually, the tiny cat retreats to safety but the tense standoff definitely turned a lot of heads. People just can’t stop watching this video; it’s pretty incredible.

It’s just hilarious to see a microscopic kitten holding her own against a gigantic dog twenty times her size!

And if they’re used to being around humans, they might be a LOT more bold than you can imagine…

Janna Breslin went out paddleboarding with some friends in Weeki Wachee Springs, Florida, and she’ll never forget this particular excursion.

Not because the paddleboarding was especially thrilling but because of one surprising encounter with an especially determined raccoon.

At first, the raccoon is just sort of swimming around between the humans, obviously unafraid and clearly curious.

The paddleboarders don’t mind his presence, either; after all, it looks like he just wants to say hello.

But then he makes a move toward Janna, who just so happened to have a backpack loaded onto her paddleboard…a backpack loaded with food!

This raccoon must’ve smelled the contents because he decides to make a play for that backpack, and with Janna still on the paddleboard!

It was something she never expected and if she doesn’t react, the brazen little robber will make off with the goods.

Janna’s friends caught the whole hilarious episode on camera and as for Janna:

“Still can’t believe that actually happened!!!

Yesterday was my first encounter with a wild and very curious raccoon,” she wrote on YouTube.

She did have to give the little guy a knock on the head to let him know he can’t take the backpack. But hey, you do what you have to.

And don’t worry about the raccoon. Janna says he’s just fine:

“I’m not happy I bonked him on the head, I tried to nicely keep him away from me and my things…

…but once I felt he was not going to let go of my clothing and food, I made a split decision to make sure my belongings were safe.

As you can see he swam away and was totally fine.“

Just be careful when you pack a lunch and head out into the wild!
