That said, there are so many adorable pics and videos making the rounds on the internet that it really takes something special to move the needle.

The Hotel Nikko in San Francisco, California has an absolutely adorable puppy on staff that is just a phone call away.

Yes, this is a real thing.

The pup’s name is Buster Posey, and he’s been dubbed the “Chief Canine Officer.”

As you might’ve guessed, the adorable pooch is named after the popular San Francisco Giants catcher…just don’t expect the real Buster Posey to show up when you “order.”

But hey, who wants a boring ol’ catcher when you can have a beautiful, energetic puppy in your hotel room!

Toss in some room service and you’ve got the best reasons ever to stay in and take a load off. Buster will see to it you’re never lonely, that’s for sure.

A Twitter user that recently stayed at the hotel drew attention to this incredible idea.

Buster is pretty popular, so guests are encouraged to check with the front desk to verify his schedule and see when he’s available.

We’re going to go out on a limb and assume that the Hotel Nikko will have little trouble attracting guests as long as Buster is on the payroll…
