And some might assume that boxers would be especially bad for babies, as they have a reputation for being somewhat strong, aggressive types.

But then there are dogs, regardless of breed, that simply and instantly form an attachment with humans. And yes, that can even involve newborns.

As you might guess, such dogs make for perfect family pets. They aren’t merely loyal companions; they’re also fierce protectors.

Furthermore, they feel your pain, as evidenced by this amazingly emotional boxer who just couldn’t stand to hear a newborn infant cry.

One day, a new mother came into her brand new baby’s bedroom to check on the infant.

Then she noticed the family dog was lying underneath the baby’s crib; he seemed very happy and content there.

But then the infant began to cry and when the boxer heard the baby’s cries, he emerged with obvious concern etched on his face.

The loving dog sniffed at the crib and tried to figure out why the infant was in distress.

Then, as the child continued to cry, the emotional dog felt the baby’s pain and started crying right along with her!

He couldn’t figure out how to help the poor thing and he desperately looked to the mother for assistance, as if to say, “Come on, help!”

This is obviously a very protective animal, one that will put the family’s life before its own.

Who wouldn’t want such an amazing pet in their home?
