If we were born without any deficiencies or abnormalities, the senses are simply a part of life.

Sight, touch, taste, smell, and hearing come with the territory; most of us can do it all right from the get-go.

But when you’re born into a permanently silent world, it must make an already-scary situation that much more terrifying.

Thankfully, modern medicine allows the disadvantaged to have what the rest of us have, as this one adorable baby just learned.

He couldn’t hear when he was born but with the simple addition of hearing aids, the entire world explodes with delicious sound.

And the boy’s reaction is absolutely priceless.

It’s clear as day: First there’s confusion with a touch of surprise and then, nothing but unbridled joy. The world is alive!

Though he may never remember hearing for the first time, he will at least be able to watch this video over and over like I have.
