Henry is a hound dog who has been waiting for three years for someone to pick him and love him forever. Frankly, he’s tired of waiting, so with the help of a human helper, he joined Tinder to find that perfect someone.

He has some pretty good opening lines which he has obviously given quite a lot of thought to and will definitely catch attention.

“Hello hooooouuuuuman! My name is Henry, but you can call me ‘good boy.'”

“Netflix and Nuzzles?”

His profile pic is pretty sweet too.

Miranda Morrison is Henry’s human helper who set Henry up on the dating app — she listed his age as “23, which is more or less accurate in dog years.”

Miranda is also “the canine behavior and enrichment coordinator for Animal Ark Rescue in Columbus, Georgia.

Henry has been at Animal Ark’s no-kill shelter for nearly three years now, which has given Morrison a lot of time to grow extremely fond of him.”

“He is my favorite dog at the shelter,” she said.

He loves other people and dogs, car rides, and hiking. He also likes to snuggle and watch TV.

Though Henry has received 14 messages since December 29th,  Henry is still looking for his true love.

Miranda explained that “This is possibly because Henry is a little afraid of small children, and sometimes barks at them, which can be a bit of a turnoff.”

She’s convinced that Henry’s special someone is still out there and they will get a kick out of having found their dog on Tinder.

“I vaguely remember silly things from Tinder in my single swiping days,” Morrison, who is now married, explained.

“I think I once matched with pizza? I thought, what if I make Henry a profile? That would be worth a shot.“

It’s not just humans that can experience those feelings, either.  Animals too can take an instant dislike to another animal, or fall madly in love.

Sophie, a rescue cat living in Boston, was thrilled to be living in a safe and happy home. She thought she had everything she could ever want.

Then, she went on a walk with her human parents one day…and amazingly, met the man…er, tomcat, of her dreams.

“I remember when I first started taking her out on the leash Scottie would come over and watch from across the lawn or driveway without coming too close,” said Sophie’s human mom.

Sophie was sort of a hard sell; she didn’t instantly fall in love. In fact, at first, she sort of scorned the boy next door’s advances.

So, the handsome orange and white tomcat, Scottie, had to adore his black and white beauty from afar, happy simply to know she was in his world for a while.

He would sit and stare from a distance, always making sure he was able to see her and what she was doing.

“Sophie was too busy for him…but soon he became bolder and would sit closer like he was waiting for an invite to join in.

Sophie didn’t seem to mind he was there as long as she didn’t have to pay attention to him much,” said the human mom.

But eventually, Scottie’s adoration wore her down. One day when they went out for a walk, she seemed to be letting him know that he could court her if he chose to.

He, of course, chose to do so, and soon they were inseparable. Scottie’s dream had come true, and in doing so, made Sophie just as happy.

“His persistence started paying off and soon Sophie came to expect him on her adventures and allowed him to sit with her.”

Every time she goes outside now, everyone can guarantee that he will be close behind. Whatever she does, he does it too.

From the time they go outside until they go back inside their homes, they are together the whole time. They’ve taken neighborly love to a whole new level!

Congratulations to the two of them for finding such a beautiful relationship.
