Sometimes, the wildlife finds its way in, for example.

Happens a lot in open-air baseball stadiums, as birds can pose all sorts of problems.

But nobody really expected to see a squirrel on a football field…while a game was taking place.

After all, football stadiums are giant structures of concrete and steel with few trees in sight, so why SHOULD we expect a squirrel invasion?

Well, this little guy not only made it to the field, he scored!

The announcers played along, too, which just makes this little 30-second vid an instant internet classic.

The crowd loved it as well, and it was one of the highlights of a game that otherwise wasn’t very close.
