Dogs are incredible creatures.

Sometimes, they pull of feats that nobody can explain, not even animal experts or medical professionals. And that’s precisely what makes dogs perfect companions for humans.

When you least expect it, your four-legged friend might do something that can actually save your life, so pay attention!

Case in point: Lauren Gauthier of Buffalo, New York, was confused when her coonhound dog Victoria kept sniffing at her nose.

There was a small reddish lump there and though it was a tad unsightly, Lauren wasn’t too concerned. And yet, Victoria just wouldn’t leave her alone.

Day after day, Victoria would put go nose-to-nose with her owner, sniffing at that tiny little bump.

As it turns out, the concerned dog had a very good reason for being fixated with Lauren’s nostril. And if Lauren hadn’t visited the doctor, it might’ve been too late…

As she told InsideEdition.com, it was determined that the bump was basal cell carcinoma, a type of skin cancer.

And Victoria had known!

“She’d been literally putting her nose onto my nose where the cancer was.

My dog’s persistence in smelling that area made me wonder if there was something suspicious about it.”

Lauren thinks the cancer came from using a tanning bed three times a week when she was a teenager.

And years later, it was her adorable rescued pooch that called attention to the danger lurking in her system.

“She started smelling a specific area of my nose to the extent that she would actually touch her nose to mine where the cancer is and lean back and look at me and smell it again and look at me.

It was very odd and she kept doing it repeatedly and I thought that that was a little bit unusual for her to do.”

As you might expect, Lauren is now warning teens to avoid those suntan beds, and she’s also thanking her lucky stars for Victoria. As she added later:

“Hounds have a keen sense of smell but I never thought that I would personally benefit from it!”

Lauren is getting better by the day, too, so this story certainly has a happy ending.

And you can bet that Victoria will have a loving owner forever, and one who will never forget what man’s best friend did for her!

Greg Thomas, a 57-year-old man from Minnesota was diagnosed with stage IV cancer and he only had a few months to live.

After hearing his diagnosis, Greg would take long walks each day with his dog.

They would go to an abandoned church where Greg would sit on the steps and pray for a miracle. Of course, his faithful dog prayed with him.

However, he really wanted to see the inside of the 150-year-old building, but couldn’t get the door open.

He spoke to someone who lived nearby who knew who owned it, so Greg reached out and they were happy to let him see inside the old church.

When he stepped inside, he couldn’t believe how well-preserved it was!

He decided right then that he was going to restore the old church and despite his diagnosis, he began by painting the outside.

Even though he was on oxygen and had a feeding tube, Greg, along with his loyal dog, showed up every day, and it came out beautifully.

This man really managed to bring this beautiful church back to life and in an incredible twist of fate, God decided to return the favor:

Three years later, and Greg just got the most amazing news…his cancer was gone!

Grateful to God for another chance, Greg is planning to renovate other neglected churches.

“This is my way of saying thank you,” he said through tear-filled eyes.

Watch Greg’s amazing story of hope; guaranteed it’ll make you a believer!

Warning: This video will make you cry happy tears.

Gale and her family had just learned that their son was cancer free and decided to bring a sign to this Garth Brooks concert. When Garth sees the sign, he immediately stops playing and asks her a question…
————————————————————————————————————————–

Lots of people bring signs to entertainment events, like baseball games and concerts.

If you’re lucky, maybe one of the TV cameras will focus on it and you’ll get your ten seconds of mini-fame.

But nobody is expecting the performers to acknowledge the sign in any way; that’d be asking far too much, right?

Then again, if the sign is important enough and the performer in question is compassionate enough, maybe it’ll happen…

This heartwarming story begins when West Jet airlines donated tickets for a family who wanted to visit their six-year-old son, who was being treated for cancer at an Alberta medical facility.

Little Mason had been battling for over a year, and Gale, her husband, and sons wanted to be with him, so the airline did a good deed.

But after the Ronald McDonald House Charities posted about it on Facebook, another good deed occurred:

Canadian Karyn Louise saw the post and offered the family two tickets to a Garth Brooks concert in Calgary on September 1:

“I’d like to treat you to a date night… I have two Garth Brooks tickets if you are a fan and can get away for a few hours on Friday night.

I had planned on donating them to Ronald McDonald house and I would love for you to enjoy them.”

On that very same day, the family learned that Mason was officially cancer-free.

And though he couldn’t attend the concert (his immune system still needed time to recover), Gale went with a cardboard sign that read:

“Today My Son Is Cancer Free!”

And unbelievably enough, Garth Brooks saw this sign, stopped the show, and asked her some questions.

Then he even offered her a very special gift…all in all, it was quite the incredible experience.

http://addictingstories.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Ronald-McDonald-House-Charities®-Southern-Alberta.mp4

Gale will never forget it, that’s for sure, and everyone at the concert loved it, too!

Please SHARE this heartwarming story =)
