He was playing ball…alone?

She saw him run over and grab a ball and throw it over the fence. Much to her surprise, moments later the ball popped back over the fence for him to throw again.

She quickly got a closer look, and then it all made sense…

The reason is ridiculously adorable!

The neighbors dog is having the time of his life fetching the ball and immediately dropping it back over the fence for the little boy to throw to him again.

Wholesome videos like this always put me in a better mood, I love them!

That’s all I can say after watching this video!

It’s amazing how a video so simple and with no words, can cause such emotion in me.

The woman sees a stray pup by the road who obviously needs lots of help. She gives him some treats, brings him to a vet, and gets him all cleaned up at the groomers. She even takes him to go pick out his favorite toys.

The two look so happy together!

Then she sees it — the sign.

I instantly started crying when I watched this omg its so good!

Check it out before I spoil anymore…

Now this may not be a “real” video per-say, but it still made me cry like it was. The reason being, I’ve had this exact situation happen to me years ago. It’s about the sweetest and most heart-breaking thing that can happen to you.

At least he’s back home now though with his original owner and partner.

What a sweet video, we need more love and compassion in the world like this.

The world didn’t deserve someone as wholesome and loving as Steve Irwin.

I was sad for weeks after he passed away! What a wholesome person that had so much love for animals.

When I watch some of these old videos, it’s just so clear to see the respect he had for these beautiful creatures.

Usually he’s just excited. And I love that!

But this time, you can hear in his voice just how touched he was by this moment.

It’s so amazing!

For those of you who don’t know, any type of primate usually has very great strength.

When they have babies around…watch out.

Motherly instincts of protection are some of the strongest in the world. If they sense you are a threat to them or their babies, there is no stopping the primal rage that would tear through the jungle in your direction until you were either dead or far, far away.

Steve is so cautious because this mother has her newborn with her, and that could mean serious trouble for him. If she doesn’t like him, she could kill him in a matter of seconds. They really are that strong!

She approaches, and seems to comfortable with him.

It’s like she could sense that he meant her absolutely no harm.

What an amazing moment we get to witness over and over.

I’ve seen a lot of Steve Irwin videos, but I had never seen this one before and boy am I glad I did. I can’t stop sharing this on my Facebook its just so touching. The world could use some wholesome love right now.

What an amazing video!

Look at the way he snuggles in with her at the end and has Steve on one side and her baby on the other. She feels so comfortable around him when her guard would normally be on high alert. Animals have such a sixth sense!

Perhaps its because she realized that she and Steve aren’t so different after all. That even though he is a human and she is an orangutan, they actually have a lot in common.

LOL!

They dig to bury prized possessions. They dig for a cool spot to lie down. And they dig up what they’ve buried.

Some dogs will dig simply because they enjoy it or because they smell something interesting. No one will ever know for sure why the dog in this video started digging.

But the results are priceless….

Pandora is a sweet dog who enjoys digging. Like many dogs, she gets into just about everything. This time, she started digging in her back yard. Recognizing that young pups will often eat what they find, Pandora’s owner acted quickly when she saw something alarming.

Pandora appeared to be eating something that she had dug up from the back yard. Fearing that it could be toxic, her owner quickly went to Pandora to get whatever it was out of her mouth.

What she found was nothing less than hysterical.

“I couldn’t see what it was, so I called her in,” her owner said.

“When I lifted her head, I almost died from laughing.”

Pandora had found an old set of dentures. When her owner reached her, Pandora simply smiled, dentures and all.

You have no chance of looking at this video and not laughing out loud when you see Pandora with her dentures in.

Her owners reported that an elderly couple used to own the property. They can only assume that the dentures came from their time in the house.

Although, no one is quite sure why a set of dentures would be buried in the back yard. You’d think that would be something that would be missed, wouldn’t you?

They’ll often hear a thunderstorm approaching long before we do.

Some dogs have been trained to sniff out illnesses like cancer. Others can sense when their person is about to have a seizure and alert them before it hits.

Other dogs are so in tune with humans and recognize the varying tones of our voices that it seems uncanny.

This is the story of one such dog and how his alert nature saved a man’s life.

Zeus was a three-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier living with his human family in Perth, Australia.

(What a CUTIE!)

His owner, Mick Condo, noticed that Zeus was behaving strangely in the backyard one day but he didn’t think too much about it.

He simply assumed that Zeus had seen another animal or something else that had distracted him.

Despite Condo’s efforts, Zeus would not stop obsessing over a particular area of the fence between Condo’s yard and that of his 96-year-old neighbor.

That’s when Condo realized that something wasn’t right.

Condo and Zeus approached the fence and heard a man on the other side.

“He was whimpering and carrying on at the fence, so I went to see what the issue was,” Condo told PerthNow. Condo was shocked by what he found.

“Help me, I think I’ve broken my hip I’ve been lying here for two days,” his neighbor cried out. The 96-year-old man had fallen onto a concrete floor on his patio.

“I ran out the front and got a couple of young fellas to help and then we went and bashed in the gate so we could get in,” Condo said.

Condo’s neighbor was dehydrated and had a broken hip. He was taken to a local hospital where he reportedly made a full recovery.

Condo believes that Zeus’s actions saved the man’s life.

“He [the neighbor] kept saying that he couldn’t have made it through another night,” Condo said.

Zeus’s heroism was rewarded with a steak dinner.

“He’s a class dog, just incredible, such a lovable dog,” Condo said.

What an incredible    story!

The words have been in the headlines a lot recently with the flooding, storms, and fires endangering the lives of so many around the US this past year.

Sometimes animals need rescuing simply because they’ve gotten themselves into a predicament and need someone with opposable thumbs to get them out of it.

Animal rescue meant something very different to a tiny month-old human baby that was abandoned by his mother somewhere on the streets of Argentina.

It was a bitter-cold night and he didn’t have much of a chance of survival.

That is until someone came to his rescue. And his rescuer came in a form you might never expect!

This time it wasn’t a human that was rescuing an animal from an uncertain fate, but an animal that was actually doing the rescuing.

Proving that maternal instincts definitely cross a species barrier, a stray dog named Way saved the baby’s life that cold winter night.

Way had given birth herself recently. When she was out foraging for food to keep up her strength to keep her babies fed she happened to hear the cries of the abandoned child.

Her maternal instincts, already in full swing, kicked into full gear and she went into savior mode. She brought her puppies to the child, then curled her body around all of them and kept them warm and well fed through the night.

In the morning light, local resident Alejandra Griffa heard the baby’s cries and searched until she found the nest the mother dog had made for her human and canine babies. Griffa immediately rushed the baby to the hospital.

Despite the bitter cold of the night, the baby suffered no ill effects. His 33-year-old mother was detained by authorities.

We hope that with the newfound fame brought about by the discovery of her generous and compassionate action the dog described in Argentinian media reports as being “just a dog” has found a home with someone who will realize what a treasure they have.

She definitely deserves the label of “someone’s pet.”

We also hope her puppies fared as well as the human child, who reports say is thriving.

But Mother Nature occasionally delivers a shock and if we’re lucky, it’s a pleasant shock.

And here’s a perfectly heartwarming example:

A mother horse named Emma defied all the odds and delivered a borderline impossible miracle this past week.

For the record, it isn’t especially uncommon for a horse to conceive twins — It does happen every now and then.

What is extremely uncommon, however, is for both embryos to survive.

Twin foals are IMMENSELY rare!

So rare, in fact, that vets say a twin horse’s odds of survival are a disheartening 10,000 to 1.

What generally happens is one embryo takes over at some point during the pregnancy, or one embryo dies early.

Sometimes, vets will even perform an abortion in the later stages of pregnancy to assure survival of one.

But somebody forgot to tell Emma about all this, who lay down to give birth…and not long after, she became an internet phenomenon!

And that’s because her twins did indeed survive.

The twins, named Will and Grace, are in good health and should lead long and happy lives, which is a tremendous miracle!

Said Nicola Jarvis, senior veterinary surgeon at a UK horse sanctuary:

“Although mares quite often conceive twins, it is rare that both embryos survive.

If you have two foals, they are vying for space and the chances of them coming out alive and well are slim.“

Yeah, well, it happened.

And as you might expect, the owner was stunned at this turn of events, as he actually had no idea the mare was pregnant with twins.

That’s a beautiful two-for-one deal!

All young children and even some older ones are prone to throw temper tantrums from time to time.

Most tantrums are fairly predictable.

The young one does not get what he wants, protests, and then the tantrum starts as they realize that mom is not giving in.

Most children will lie on the ground, cry, yell and pretty much do anything they can to irritate or embarrass you.

Animal children are no different as you will see in this adorable video. The baby elephant seen here is not getting what he wants.

He throws a tantrum right in the middle of the road. And what does his mom do?

The baby elephant apparently protesting his mother’s demands, plops himself down in the grass along the side of the road.

An adult elephant passes him by ignoring this behavior.

So, what does the baby do? What all children do when plan A doesn’t work. Plan B. The baby elephant throws himself into the middle of the road and starts an all out tantrum with his little legs flailing.

Another elephant soon passes by, presumably his mother.

She notices his behavior but refuses to reinforce it in any way. She calmly walks right past him.

Realizing that his antics are not yielding the desired response from this mom, the baby elephant gives up and quickly catches up to the grown ups.

Watch and see for yourself. If you are a parent, you will easily relate and applaud this elephant mama.
