Hilariously, animals can get in the same predicament if they eat fermented fruit or veggies.

This squirrel is the perfect example: she got into the pumpkin patch where several of them had fermented, and after she had her fill, she decided she better get to her nest.

Easier said than done.

The struggle is real! The first attempt up the tree makes her realize that it’s going to be harder than she thought.

She hangs on for a few seconds, then tumbles back to the ground and just lays there for a few seconds to regroup.

She looks up as if to say, “Can you help a girl out?”

But she’s not ready to give up just yet!

She gets back on the tree, and then just hangs there with her bottom sagging contemplating her next move.

This stuff takes some time to wear off,  ya know.

You can tell; she gets back on the ground and starts shaking her tail.

When you add another baby animal to the equation…well, just forget about it. Cuteness overload!

And some of the most incredibly memorable encounters are recorded when the babies in question have no idea what they’re looking at.

That’s exactly what happened in this adorable video.

A kitten named Loki got a gander at a hedgehog named Harley, and the reaction was nothing short of priceless. It’s just internet gold.

Loki looked on in amazement as Harley made his way across the room, slowly testing the waters.

She debated approaching the hedgehog to see what the heck the deal was with this strange looking creature.

You can see that hesitation in her adorable actions…

But ultimately, she mustered up enough courage to get close enough to the strange little fella.

Of course, Loki’s bravery frightened the little hedgehog, so out came the spikes!

Better watch out, Loki; that’s one prickly friend you’ve got there.

But Loki eventually realized that the hedgehog meant her no harm, so she continued her approach.

Before you knew it, the pair would exchange gazes and become fast friends!

These two broke the cuteness meter and at the same time, each made a friend for life.

The owner of an adorable four-month-old puppy decided there was room for another addition to the family…enter a gorgeous baby goat into the equation.

The goat wasn’t even the slightest bit shy when it realized there was another furry member in the room.

Instead, the goat simply wandered on up and said hello.

The confused pup was a little guarded at first, but the walls quickly came tumbling down.

The lovable little ones touched noses and playfully stared each other down. Before too long, the pup got awfully excited and started racing across the room.

It looked like he was trying to inspire his new friend to join in, but he quickly realized the goat was a little more laid back than that.

Without missing a beat, the pup shifted course and returned to his original position, and the goat was right beside him.

It certainly looks like this pair is well on its way to becoming a dynamic duo!

Absolutely nothing can kill this cheerful dog’s zeal for chasing whatever is thrown…in this case, snowballs.

Of course, the snowballs don’t disappear when they leave the owner’s hand, but they’re basically gone the instant they hit the snow-covered ground.

And there goes our favorite fetching pup, diving in to get what he could’ve sworn fell right there!

Okay…where’d it go?

There’s something so mesmerizing and oddly inspiring about this, isn’t there?

Makes you wonder if humans were so gung-ho about something, no matter how many times they were frustrated or disappointed, they’d ultimately succeed.

Well, perhaps this new internet sensation will one day find that elusive snowball.

But one curious deer that wandered into a family’s garden proved he isn’t scared of two things: little girls and cameras.

When Matthew Ray’s daughter went out to play in the backyard garden, she came across a surprise visitor.

A young deer had strolled in, likely looking for a few snacks, and probably not expecting to encounter any resistance.

The deer certainly didn’t expect a brave little toddler, who saw the deer and decided she wanted to make friends.

As soon as the deer sees the girl, he does what all deer do – his ears went up and he froze in place. But incredibly, he didn’t try to escape.

The adorable girl got a little closer and still, the tolerant creature didn’t run; he just bounced backward a few steps when the girl reached out to pet him.

The toddler came up again and again, the deer bounded away. But he never turned tail and sprinted out of the garden…he just wouldn’t let the girl touch him.

They were playing the cutest game of tag ever!

Matthew had his camera out and captured the whole thing, and that’s when he realized this young woodland creature really wasn’t afraid of humans at all.

A grown man with a camera didn’t faze the deer, either (just look how close he gets!), so the girl and the deer continued to play together.

Finally, however, the deer decided he’d had enough fun for one day; after grazing on some flowers, he wandered off and left dad with one amazing video.

Bet you don’t have deer this tame in YOUR backyard!

When used correctly, these futuristic devices are the equivalent of having a real live personal assistant at our beck and call. Just speak, and voila!

Of course, the ease of use that these contraptions are known for can also lead to some unintended consequences. And sometimes, those consequences are just plain hilarious.

That’s certainly the case in this gem of a video:

A woman asks her Amazon Echo to rattle off her shopping list, but she quickly realizes something is amiss.

It’s almost as if the Echo has developed a glitch that causes it to repeat things over and over, but that’s not the case at all…

It seems that the woman’s African Grey parrot, Bibi, has made friends with the Echo!

Bibi has all kinds of interesting requests for the device, and it’s quite clear that the beautiful bird has a serious hankering for some strawberries.

That item is on there more than a few times, as are several other hysterical things no bird could ever want. 

“We laughed until tears were streaming down our faces,” the bird’s owner said.

In fact, if you look up the definition of “mother” you should see the word “worrier” in the description. It’s what most of them do best!

You worry they aren’t eating right. You worry  they’re too hot or too cold. Or you simply worry that they’re not very happy.

When they’re babies, you fret over every bump and bruise, and a cough or sneeze can send you to the pediatrician in a flash.

You wonder if they’re growing fast enough. Then you get concerned that they’re growing too fast!

When they get older, you are concerned about the friends they choose. You are afraid they’ll make the wrong decisions, decisions you know you have to let them make.

Of course, babies don’t usually make a lot of decisions. For the first few months at least of life, you only have to worry about keeping them warm, fed, clean and burped.

All of the above is true for more than just humans.

When this beautiful 3-day-old baby kitten decides to go on an adventure, mom is at first puzzled at what’s going on.

“Where does he think he’s going?” is probably running through her head.

Then watch her reaction when she realizes it’s up to her to get her baby back to safety…

In the Deep South, it doesn’t take much of a snowfall to make everything freeze to a standstill.

Grocery stores have empty shelves instead of the vast array of bread, milk and eggs shoppers are used to seeing.

Some parts of Texas don’t get a lot of snow either, so it’s cause for a lot of excitement when it happens.

But most people, even kids, don’t get quite as excited as one dog in Porter, Texas does…

It’s very likely neither he nor his kid had ever seen snow before; their excitement was definitely contagious!

When his little human friend hopped up on the ice and snow-covered trampoline, everyone’s excited laughter worked up this perky canine into a frenzy.

With one leap he was on the trampoline and scampering around, not seeming to mind that his feet were slipping and sliding on the frosty covering.

Too hilarious for words!

Well, unless what they consider “play” doesn’t fit your description of fun at all.

Have you ever tried matching socks in the laundry with a dog beside you whose favorite game is tug of war? …you know what happens.

And the family cat doesn’t consider it cute when the dog wants to play chase, just because the cat moved a muscle.

When Christmas Day had long passed, David Graham decided it was time dispose of the family’s long-dead Christmas tree.

His plan was to toss it over the fence to dispose of later. Such a simple chore should have only taken a few minutes.

So, when he wasn’t back inside in a short amount of time, his wife Erin Sharkey Graham looked out the window to see what was wrong…

When she saw what was happening she burst into laughter and luckily, she was able to record the event for our amusement.

Her husband was trying valiantly to toss the dilapidated tree over the fence but it just wasn’t happening.

Why? Oh, he’d played “toss the stick” with the family German Shepherds a few times too many!

Badge and Segen were convinced that dad was trying to toss the biggest fluffiest stick ever, and they were both using some of their best defense maneuvers!

Poor David. He would get the tree almost over the fence and the big dogs would tug it back inside. Even if David ended up on the ground with the tree.

We’re so glad Erin captured the moments for us to enjoy, though.

Next year when they deck the halls, perhaps they will remember to keep the dogs inside while dad un-decks!
