Shaking And Crying, This Poor Pup Is Stuck In His Hiding Place Until Rescuers Get An Idea

Sometimes, rescuers have to get creative.

Not only must they deal with petrified animals who distrust humans, they must also deal with a myriad of unforeseen circumstances.

For example, when Hope For Paws got a call about an abandoned dog in a garage, they had no idea how tricky the rescue would become…

At first, the frightened pooch was just hiding under the car, which isn’t anything new for veteran rescuers.

And then they erected a fence around the car, so they’d be sure to catch the scared pup when he made a break for it.

But they hadn’t counted on one problem:

The car was parked very close to the wall and that’s exactly where this petrified canine retreated to, making it impossible for rescuers to reach him.

No set of arms was long enough, even when one of the volunteers got on the hood of the car. So, what to do?

Well, that’s where the handy-dandy snare leash comes into play.

It’s not as sinister as it sounds; it’s merely designed to safely trap a stray animal.

Still terrified, this pup cowered against the wall, jammed between the car and the concrete.

The rescuer took the snare, leaned over, lowered it carefully, and…

Got him!

Like most dogs who realize their captors are actually friends, this one quickly warmed up to the rescuers.

He was no longer terrified; he transformed into a loving, playful pooch who willingly went with the team back to their clinic.

That’s where Keanu – the name the rescuers gave the pup – got a much-needed bath and the love and attention he deserves.

Now his ordeal is over and he’s looking for his fur-ever home.

No matter which loving family adopts him, Keanu never again has to worry about filthy garages and cold cement walls! 😀
