Kind Soul Builds Tiny House For Pregnant Dog – Checks The Litter, Realizes It’s Not All Puppies

One day, a very kind-hearted man got an idea:

He would help a stray, homeless dog who was about to give birth to a litter of puppies.

The Good Samaritan couldn’t bring them all home, so he did the next best thing: he would give the new mother and her babies a shelter.

So, he found some basic materials and did exactly that, constructing a tiny house for the new family. He even put a blanket inside to help keep the new puppies warm.

When he was done, he put the doghouse against a building (for a little extra protection from the elements), and left.

But because he wanted to see how mamma and the new pups were faring, he decided to come back a few days later … and he saw something he just couldn’t believe!

When he peeked inside the little house, he did indeed see puppies. But he saw something else, too…

A stray gray cat had moved right in, too, and now four newborn kittens were resting inside, right next to the newborn pups!

Unbelievably enough, the mamma dog had seen another mother in distress and let her inside to give birth. So what if they were different species? Moms are moms!

The Good Samaritan still couldn’t believe it, though, and he whipped out his camera to take some pictures.

As he can be heard saying in the video:

How cool. People gonna think I’m lying.

It’s incredible to see. But look … it’s like a maternity ward in here.

As you might expect, there are lots of comments to this video, and just about all of them are just blown away by what they saw:

Awwwww, this is the sweetest thing. So special how the cat and dog kept themselves and their children safe and cozy by huddling up in a shelter together.

Made my day for sure!

One mother helping out another in her time of need. Let’s hope their friendship last.

…this has got to be one of the most precious stories/videos i have seen in a while. Just lovely and my 6 adopted kittens(now cats)agree.

What do you have to say about this touching story and video? 🙂
