Abused 17-Year-Old Cinnamon Hates People But This Woman Refuses To Give Up On Her

Cinnamon is a 17-year-old cat with a harrowing story. She started her life with loving owners, but they both tragically passed away.

From there, she was sent to family members who were very abusive to the poor cat.

They even chased her around with sticks thinking it was funny. But of course it wasn’t and poor Cinnamon soon became terrified of people.

And when those sick abusive owners had enough ‘fun’ with Cinnamon, they got rid of her. Just inhuman.

But thankfully, there was one kind soul who wasn’t about to let Cinnamon die in misery…

Valia Orfanidou decided to foster the mistreated cat but at first, he couldn’t believe how angry Cinnamon was.

She had nowhere else to go but foster care, so we took her in.

I’d never seen an angrier cat in my life. She was furious, confused and so lonely.

No matter how anyone tried, Cinnamon would shut down any form of interaction with humans; but being scared and lonely wasn’t the senior cats only problem.

She was sadly diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and only had months left to live.

Valia was determined to earn Cinnamon’s trust and make sure that she knew love before she lost her battle to cancer.

For months I had believed that she was always a grumpy, lonely cat, even as a pet – but she wasn’t.

She had her whole life turned around at an age where all she needed was stability.

The only way she knew how to face all that was by closing into herself.

She was finally able to pet the grumpy kitty and even Cinnamon seemed surprised at her newfound trust.

She would sit on the floor petting her until her legs fell asleep, and it must’ve been just so wonderful for the dying animal.

That seemed like all that Cinnamon needed; someone to love her that she felt safe with. She even started playing again!

She’s living out the rest of her day in a life that she deserves, and a huge thanks to Valia for not giving up on her.

We can all learn a valuable lesson from this determined kind-hearted soul!
