Curious Owner Is Crushed To Discover Where Cesar Slips Off To Each Morning

When his owner, 79-year-old Mehmet Ilhan went into the hospital near his home near Bursa, Turkey everyone knew he would likely not be coming home again. His dog, Cesar, couldn’t comprehend everything that was going on, but he knew that something was terribly wrong.

As feared, Mehmet’s life ended soon, and Cesar went to live with Ali. Knowing that Mehmet would want him to be part of the ceremony, Ali took Cesar with him to Mehmet’s funeral.

Cesar nobly led the procession on the way to the mosque, breaking the hearts of everyone who attended.

He noticed that Cesar would slip out of the house with him as he left for work every day, but he gave little thought to where Cesar might be going. One day he decided to follow him.

His eyes filled with tears as he followed Cesar’s footsteps on a familiar path to the cemetery. When he arrived, a cemetery worker greeted Cesar and when Ali greeted him as well, told Ali that Cesar visited with them every day.

The worker at the cemetery told Ali that Cesar shows up the first thing every morning to visit the grave.

“On that day, they paid their respects to Mehmet together. “

Every day he continues to make the trip. But Ali is firmly certain of one thing. Little Cesar may continue to grieve his loss, but he will never have to face the future alone.
