Meaty The Pit Bull Has Every Reason To Smile These Days And He Does!

Meatball, called Meaty for short, had a rough start in life.

He spent most of it in the shelter. He had no idea what it would be like to have a loving family, but what he did know was that he didn’t enjoy life.

Fortunately for Meaty, it was a no-kill rescue, so he wasn’t at risk of being put down.

He was just lonely, didn’t like going to sleep of other animals crying, and just wanted to be happy.

Then one day, a picture was posted of Meaty on the internet, and Lisa Reilly saw him.

She used to have a dog, oddly enough named Kitty, and Meaty reminded her of her old dog that she had to have put to sleep just a couple of months before.

Well, she couldn’t resist Meaty’s sad face and quickly adopted him.

She took him home and that frown immediately turned upside down!

And he hasn’t stopped smiling since.

A family is what just he needed to be fulfilled and boy is he happy!

He loved his first real Christmas…

But his favorite moment was when he helped his dad propose to his mom. Awww…
