Milo’s Impossibly Huge Smile Stuns The World, But That Smile Is Hiding A Huge Secret…

Pets often have unique and amazing traits.

Sometimes it involves something physical; like a distinct marking on the fur, or a singular and beautiful face.

Milo is special in a couple of departments but first and foremost:

His giant glowing smile just defies nature!

On top of that, nobody can really explain his very interesting curls. This, coupled with that fantastic smile, just makes him irresistible.

Well, he should’ve been irresistible.

In fact, poor Milo was homeless at just 8 months old, and he was forced to live in a shelter in California.

That’s when a woman named Ivy Rylander spotted Milo’s pics online and she just knew she had to have him.

But this little unique pooch wasn’t as outgoing as his smile indicated. As Ivy told The Dodo:

He’s more nervous than a lot of other dogs, so they actually brought him to our house.

He was really shy, and they had to help him up to the stairs to our apartment.

Eventually, though, Milo settled in nicely and he’s been in his loving forever home for the past 5 years.

Still, Ivy and others wondered about the dog’s genetics. The rescue group had done an inconclusive DNA test and that’s the only info anyone had:

The rescue group had done a DNA test.

It came back three quarters Staffordshire and a quarter Lab, but none of us were really sure about that — I’ve seen plenty of Staffordshire-pit-Lab mixes, and they all have super short hair.

Ivy went on to say that nobody has any idea what Milo is, exactly. Everyone tries to guess but there’s no way to know for sure.

So Ivy just says:

…I usually just say that he’s part unicorn.

As of yet, nobody has managed to figure out what Milo is! Well, other than a wonderfully adorable and unique animal, of course.

Milo and Ivy take frequent hikes, and the “unicorn dog” is one of the most loving companions anyone can have.

Finished his happy owner:

He’s really loving. Every time I come home, he comes in for a hug.

He just squishes right in, and just wants to be embraced. He really makes everything better.

If you’re a dog expert, maybe you can figure out Milo’s intriguing origins.

Or you could just visit his awesome Instagram page (nearly 20K followers!) and indulge in his singular beauty.

The latter is the easiest and best option, most likely. 😉
