What Should Happen To A Cruel Owner Who Leaves Sick Puppies To Die In A Parking Garage?

It always breaks a rescuer’s heart to come across such an awful sight: an entire litter of puppies that an irresponsible owner has abandoned.

It’s all the more heart-wrenching if those puppies have been abused in some way, or if they’re obviously ill.

And of course, it isn’t just rescuers who feel anguish when stumbling across dying, abandoned pups.

When a car storage operator came to work one day he was horrified to find that someone had dumped an entire litter of unhealthy and neglected puppies on his property.

He quickly scooped them up, put them in an empty car, and called RSPCA for help.

“The owner of the compound confined the puppies in a car until I could get there,” Nina Small, an inspector with the RSPCA, said in a press release.

“When I opened the car door they were all huddled together on the back seat.

They were in an awful state, being sick and feeling very, very sorry for themselves.”

It was obvious that the abandoned puppies needed help immediately, so Small scooped them up and rushed them straight to the vet for immediate treatment.

They all had worms and lice, but luckily none of them had anything untreatable, and they were soon transferred to one of the RSPCA shelters, where they began getting a LOT of love and attention from the staffers.

The litter of puppies was made up of three boys and three girls. RSPCA staffers decided to name them Tommy, Liam, Bradley, Hannah, Rosie and Jade.

Proving that there was no reason to have dumped the puppies, the cute 13-week-old puppies began to feel better almost as soon as they arrived at the shelter.

If their owner had given them any care and attention at all, their misery would have been avoided.

However, seeing the condition that the puppies were in was of grave concern to the RSPCA with regards to the missing mother…

If the puppies were this sick and were simply abandoned, what was she going through now?

“There is going to be a happy ending for these puppies but given the condition they were found in I am very concerned for their mum’s welfare too,” Small said.

“I want to hear from anyone who knows where we might find her, or who saw anything that might help my investigation into how these puppies came to be dumped in this state.”

The puppies indeed all did have a happy ending, as almost immediately all six received multiple applications to adopt.

At this writing, all are healthy and happy and growing like weeds in their new loving homes!

We hope their mother has a similar happy ending. And we hope that whoever dumped these poor puppies gets a taste of karma in the near future…BAD karma!
