Only One Thing Could Stop This Terrified, Tiny Rescue Kitten From Shaking

Have you ever been so cold or so terrified that you were shaking?

You could hear your teeth chattering. You could see your hands trembling. But you just couldn’t stop.

Fear is a terrible thing but when combined with physical discomfort, everything else seems a hundred times worse. Being cold and terrified can be paralyzing.

Getting chilled to the bone, especially when you’re in a frightening situation, can take a terrible toll on any body, human or animal.

For one little Indonesian kitten, being trapped in a cold, wet gutter for days almost cost her her life.

When she was pulled to safety, scarred and bleeding and trembling with fear, pain and cold, her rescuers weren’t sure her life could be saved…

But, the kitten they named Kucil surprised them all with her inner strength. The family that took her in gave her ’round-the-clock attention, which helped calm her fears.

She had a fresh wound on one foot, which they put medicine on after getting her cleaned up.

They were afraid to stress her any more than she already was by searching for other problems.

So they fixed what they could see and then wrapped her in warm blankets to try to raise her body temperature.

She was dangerously chilled from exposure; her entire body quivered no matter what her rescuers tried to get her warm, unafraid and pain-free.

Kucil was so weak that her foster family had to accept the fact that she very likely would not make it.

That was when they decided to do everything they could to give her a chance. And Kucil would have to do the rest.

For over a week, Kucil stayed wrapped in her blanket, shivering and barely able to move.

But one day she ventured out from the warmth of her wrapping, and her family noticed she had stopped shivering!

A short week later, Kucil was a different kitten. She was trying to play a bit and was actually eating more than anyone in her new feline family.

Her human family was overjoyed! Kucil finally had a chance at not only living but in a very much better life than she had ever known.

Kucil has gotten very attached to one her new big kitty-sisters, too.

After a brief spat at their first meeting, she is now showing Kucil the ropes and how to be a cat.

Since little Kucil obviously was separated from her mother at far too young an age, the older cat is filling the void left by the absent mom, and it’s so heartwarming to see!

The two of them have formed an incredible bond in such a short time and they are absolutely inseparable.

Kucil seems to have put her terrible past out of her mind as well; she is friendly to everyone she meets and appears to be totally enjoying her new life.

Thanks to the wonderful people who found her, took her in and have gone to great lengths to make sure that the rest of her life is spent in happiness.

No more fear, cold and stress for Miss Kucil!
