This ‘Scary’ Stray Looks So Different After Eight Months Of TLC

This homeless, starving pup was found on the streets in Croatia. His eyes were infected, and his body was ravaged with mange.

No one was even sure of his breed because of the way he looked. Some thought he actually looked like the devil!

At long last, however, he was finally taken to animal rescuer Klaudija Sigurnjak for treatment.

Even when she first looked at him, she said, “I was stunned. I could hardly believe it was really a dog.”

She got to work treating Frodo, which is the name he was given, most likely because he reminded them of the Lord of the Rings character, Frodo Baggins.

Poor Frodo was covered in fleas and ticks and nearly starved to death. Klaudija didn’t know if she could save him…he really was in terrible condition.

But she did her absolute best.

She cleaned Frodo’s wounds and bandaged him up, and she made sure he had plenty of food and attention, two things he didn’t have out on the mean, cold streets.

Frodo sadly ended up losing his right eye, but he started to get a little better.

His hair started growing in and he didn’t look quite so scary anymore. As a matter of fact, he was getting doggone cute!

Additionally, as his hair grew back in, his attitude changed.

He started acting happier, playing, and loving attention. In short, he went from the “devil” to a normal, content, adorable pup!

And after several months, he REALLY started changing.

Just look at this handsome guy now!

Frodo just kept gaining confidence and finally started enjoying life again.

Dr. Sigurnjak said, “We never dreamt that he’d be so beautiful.”

This is one of the most amazing transformations we’ve ever seen!
