Historical Birth Stuns The Internet – This Miracle Baby Is Almost The Same ‘Age’ As Mom

If you spend some time thinking about all of the scientific advancements that have been made over the past few decades, your mind will be blown.

Things that simply weren’t possible are now a reality, and that opens up the door to some absolutely amazing experiences!

Among the medical breakthroughs that have completely changed the way we think about things, fertility advancements are near the top of the list.

A few decades ago, couples that were unable to conceive a child were told that adoption was the best path for them to take.

Fast-forward to today, and it’s a completely different story.

Some absolutely astonishing advancements have been made in the areas of fertility and conception, and that has led to several miraculous stories.

This one just may be the most incredible of them all.

A 26-year-old woman named Tina Gibson has just given birth to a 24-year-old baby. …and there are no typos in that sentence.

Fear not, her newborn is an actual infant, but her beautiful new daughter Emma is the product of an embryo that was frozen more than two decades ago at the National Embryo Donation Center in Clinton, Tennessee.  

Tina and her husband, Benjamin, learned that they wouldn’t be able to have children on their own.

That led them to do some research, and they decided that a frozen embryo was the way to go.

The couple was given the option of the older embryo with the clear understanding that they could choose another if they preferred.

They decided to give it a try with the embryo that was frozen way back when Tina was just 18-months-old, which must’ve seemed awfully strange…

But mazingly, everything worked out just fine.

A perfectly healthy Emma was delivered over Thanksgiving weekend, and she now holds the record for being the longest frozen embryo to result in a successful live birth!  

Benjamin said in a press release:

“Emma is such a sweet miracle. I think she looks pretty perfect to have been frozen all those years ago.”

And we’d have to agree that she is indeed a sweet miracle! Many say science shouldn’t mess with Mother Nature but in this case, look at the result:

A couple who simply couldn’t have a family of their own was given the chance to get exactly that.

Now, a beautiful new baby exists in this world, and that baby appears to have two wonderful parents. Nothing wrong with that at all!
