Maggie is an adorable little Shih Tzu-Chihuahua mix and she likes to wake up her owners when they’re sleeping.

She particularly enjoys waking up her dad, who loves to see Maggie’s shining personality first thing in the morning. As he told The Dodo:

After all, should we really punish an adorable furry thief that simply steals a loaf of bread?

That’s what happened at a supermarket in Brazil: one day, there was a brazen robbery.

A sneaky four-legged friend slipped in the front entrance of the store, and then began to plot out his dastardly plan.

He waited for just the right moment and then, he snagged the bread and ran for the door!

It happened quickly and employees only spotted a furry flash out the corners of their eyes.

So, they checked the security camera and then they were able to identify the bread-snatcher…

It was a cute little pup!

As it turns out, it was funny … but certainly not in the way he expected.

When at the beach, this dope spotted a dog wandering by the water.

For some reason, he decided he’d run up and try to kick it.

…humans can be such idiots sometimes.

So, he raced off over the sand and when he got close to the poor pooch, he prepared to unleash a vicious kick.

But it just didn’t work out that way.

First thing that happens, he slips backward and falls flat on his back. That alone is pretty funny.

But it’s what happens seconds later that has animal lovers all over the world laughing and applauding…

The instant the guy gets to his feet, a bunch of dogs comes out of nowhere and starts chasing him across the beach!

He must not have seen the pups, or maybe he didn’t think they’d defend their friend.

Either way, they came sprinting after him and he took off, desperate to get away … then he falls again, this time into the waves.

Doesn’t get much better than that, right!

It’s called karma, you moron! Don’t ever kick a dog, got it?

So, along comes UK-based artist Sarah Graley, who decides she’s going to capture what it’s like to be a cat owner.

Sarah has four cats herself – Pesto, Toby, Wilson and Pixel – and they act as her inspiration for her wildly popular “Our Super Adventure” comic series.

Now, cat lovers everywhere are laughing themselves silly at many of the inside jokes in these strips.

And in addition to the adorably touching moments, there are also wonderfully weird moments … again, only fully understood by kitty owners.

It’s just the way of things, isn’t it? Cats are predators at heart and they tend to chase squirrels, as most pet owners know.

But Decan Andersen couldn’t look the other way when a baby squirrel fell from the roof of his apartment building.

He was a cat owner but he knew the scared, injured little animal needed help, so he quickly rushed the tiny tyke inside.

The squirrel had suffered a nasty gash after ricocheting off a tree limb on the way down, so Decan carefully put him aside and called for assistance.

However, while he was on the phone, his cat, Coco, got curious…

What was the tiny furry thing his owner had brought inside? Was it a play-thing? Was it a new toy? …was it lunch?

Decan, phone in hand, froze as he watched. He suddenly realized that maybe it had been a terrible idea to bring the squirrel inside!

Coco reached out with a paw, got closer, sniffed, and then…

She began to lick and nuzzle the frightened little creature! Her maternal instincts must’ve kicked in because she doted on the tiny squirrel as if he were a kitten.

Decan couldn’t believe it. But he took it as a sign: this squirrel was meant to live!

He rushed her to the vet’s so he could take care of that awful gash and afterward, Decan brought the squirrel back home.

He knew the squirrel, which he named TinTin, would be perfectly okay with Coco around and in fact, he even used Coco’s milk to nurse the baby wild animal!

There was only one problem:

TinTin was a red squirrel, which is illegal to domesticate in the country of Denmark.

Decan didn’t want to say goodbye, though. So, he arranged to get permission to keep TinTin around, as he promised to provide the squirrel with the perfect home environment.

And TinTin flourished!

TinTin loves snacks, cuddling, and playing, and has no problem with Coco or Decan’s two kids. The thankful squirrel just loves them all!

As for Decan and why he first ran outside to help the baby squirrel, he had this to say:

“With so much negativity in the world, I thought it could help lift people up.

He makes people forget about their troubles for a moment so they can laugh and smile.

He’s certainly brought light and enjoyment to me and my family. We have a special bond and are pretty much together, 24/7.”

How perfect is that?

This Lyon County resident opened her mailbox and it didn’t have any mail in it … but there was something else.

She spotted two glowing red eyes peering out at her from the darkness!

At first, she was a little stunned but then it came forward quickly, and the woman realized it was no threat at all.

No, in fact, it was an adorable brown-and-white guinea pig!

The poor thing had been abandoned, left in the woman’s mailbox without any food or water, and it was clearly terrified.

The woman, being an animal lover herself, quickly scooped up the scared little guy, went back inside, and immediately contacted the Sheriff’s Office for help.

Authorities showed up quickly and transported the guinea pig to the Emporia Animal Shelter, where she earned a very cute nickname:

Rosita! Due to her strange red eyes, of course.

Luckily, there wasn’t anything physically wrong with Rosita; vets gave her a full check-up and determined she was healthy.

Later, an investigation into the matter revealed that Rosita had been left to die in the mailbox by a 17-year-old-girl. That girl has since been charged with three counts of animal cruelty.

And rightly so!

Best of all, though, Rosita is safe and sound at the shelter, and it won’t be long before she’ll be available for adoption.

Who wouldn’t want such a cute little pet? She’d be perfect for any responsible child, don’t you think?

At first, it had been just some mild whimpers, which the residents didn’t hear.

But these whimpers quickly escalated into high-pitched yowls and shrieks, and it went through just about every wall in the building.

The apartment in question belonged to a woman named Sharla, but those horrifying sounds weren’t coming form a human…

They were coming from her 11-year-old pug, affectionately named Charleston Chew.

Charleston is diabetic and vision-impaired and sometimes he just gets scared, and he has to yowl like crazy. He’s not being hurt in any way; he’s just a little frustrated.

The only problem was that his caterwauling was irritating Sharla’s fellow tenants, so she decided to smooth things over.

She wrote a letter from Charleston Chew’s point of view and hung it on her door, explaining his rude behavior and apologizing.

The letter went over quite well and in fact, another tenant – Megan Jones – thought it was so funny, she snapped a photo of it and posted it to Twitter.

It went viral almost immediately, as pet lovers everywhere loved the note!

Since then, Sharla and Charleston have become something of internet celebrities in the apartment building, and people are getting used to the pup’s howling.

Let’s just hope everyone continues to be understanding of the adorable little pooch!
