Woman Comes Home And Discovers A Huge Animal Napping Behind Her Couch

Nobody expects to find a wild animal sleeping behind their couch!

But that’s exactly what happened to Oregon resident Lauren Taylor, who came home one afternoon to an astounding surprise…

She lives in a heavily wooded area so she’s no stranger to animal life but she’d never seen anything get INSIDE her home.

At first, she didn’t see it because it was partially hidden. But it was so big, it didn’t evade Lauren’s notice for long!

She got a little closer and saw a pair of hind legs and a long tail … it looked a little like a cat, but certainly not a small domesticated one.

Then she peeked over the rear of the sofa and just about lost her lunch:

There was a huge mountain lion!

It was snoozing away after somehow finding its way into the house!

Lauren then realized she’d left the back door open, and she figured the huge cat had been drinking from the pond nearby her home, and decided to come inside for a nap.

Maybe due to the myriad of plants Lauren has in her living room, the mountain lion thought it was still outside. 😉

Most people would’ve panicked and fled but Lauren actually has experience working with wild animals, and she had an idea:

After her initial shock, she saw that the giant feline was still very sleepy, and not edgy or anxious at all.

So, Lauren gently approached and made it clear that she wasn’t a threat. Then she cautiously got the furry intruder to leave peacefully.

Quite the impressive feat!

As Lauren said:

She was urged telepathically to go straight back through the open field into the hills and never come into town again for her own safety.

And she did go straight through the open field, away from homes when she left!

May she stay safely in the hills to enjoy a long life as a wild and healthy lion.

Lauren will have an incredible story to tell for many years to come! 😀
