Stranger Sees Woman Sobbing In Lowe’s – What He Does Next Is Too Beautiful For Words
Hurricane Irma was hours away from bearing down upon the Florida coast.
At that point, a desperate Pam Brekke was driving to a Lowe’s in Orlando, in the hopes of finding an emergency generator.
But she didn’t just want it to run the refrigerator or turn a few lights on if and when she lost power. No, her situation was far more dire.
So, when she was standing in line and realized the man in front of her was buying the store’s last generator, she broke down in tears.
What was she going to do? A life was hanging in the balance and she had no options, other than to hope the Hurricane miraculously didn’t knock out her power.
That’s when a fellow customer learned that Pam’s father was on oxygen and without electricity, he could die.
That customer, Ramon Santiago, then did what any Good Samaritan would do: He gave her his generator.
Ramon got a big hug and tears of thanks in return and he only had a few words for the NBC Orlando affiliate WESH:
“She need the generator. It’s OK. No worry for them.”
Simple. No discussion or argument or negotiation; just a guy who wanted to do something nice for someone else, and he acted immediately.
And yes, we’re talking about a perfect stranger. But to Pam, he has suddenly become her guardian angel:
“I don’t know him at all,” she told WESH. “He’s a stranger. He’s an angel from God is what he is.“
During times of struggle, people really do tend to come together and do amazing things.
We have no hope of standing toe-to-toe with the destructive power of Mother Nature, but we can work together to survive her wrath.
Let’s not ever forget that!
